Daniel McCarron, 16, has joined the Arsenal academy from Dungannon Swifts
Arsenal announced an agreement with Dungannon Swifts in February 2026 for Daniel McCarron, a 16-year-old Northern Irish centre-back who had already featured in the NIFL Premiership with the first team. He signed a pre-contract leading to professional terms and joined the 2026/27 scholar intake in July. A completed deal, logged here late.

**Official — entry created on 14/08 to fill a gap in the tracker.** The agreement was announced on arsenal.com in February 2026, and the July arrival was confirmed by the club, the local press (Fermanagh Herald) and TribalFootball. McCarron, a Northern Ireland youth international, had trialled with Arsenal's under-17s at the Flamengo Adidas Cup in late 2024, aged 15. Nothing is pending: the dossier is closed and archived on creation. Training compensation: undisclosed.
