Max Dowman lights up the first run-out

The first outing of the season mostly served to introduce Max Dowman. He is 16. On 16 minutes he beat his man with one touch and sent Havertz away, then he got a goal of his own three minutes after Arnau Martinez had headed one in from a corner, with Lewis-Skelly finding him between the lines. Tzolis had made it two on the half hour on his first appearance, a week after signing, and Jesus finished the job soon after. A 16-year-old left Montilivi with a goal and an assist, and that is what everyone talked about afterwards.
